Description
Australian Food Industry Legislation – State or Federal? is a fantastic resource to help your Year 12 Food Technology students learn about legislation related to the Australian food industry.
Students learn about five pieces of state (NSW) legislation and five pieces of federal legislation in the PowerPoint. They can then reinforce their new knowledge of the legislation by playing the State or Federal? game. Students are shown the pieces of legislation they have just learnt about and, in groups, they have to determine if it is state or federal legislation, recording their answers on the worksheet. They can then check their answers by viewing the answer slides at the end of the PowerPoint or using the game sample answers sheet.
A lesson plan with teacher instructions is also included in this resource to help your lesson run smoothly.
