Description

Students assess and evaluate the types of support for parents and carers!

This task was created to challenge and engage students in studying Community and Family Studies. It provides students with engaging PowerPoint slides accompanied with current and relevant information.

Students have the opportunity to investigate not only the types of formal and informal support for parents & carers but also the impacts of this support on the wellbeing of the parent or carer. This assists students to gain essential knowledge about the rights and responsibilities and well-being of parenting and caring. There are a range of activities for the students to complete to extend students critical and creative thinking, including an assess question about the impacts of support on the well-being of the carer.

This task can be shared with students digitally or can be easily printed out and given to students. It can be differentiated for individual students needs at the discretion of the teacher as there is a word file and a pdf version.
