Directed Drawings are FUN! Do your students love directed drawing resources? Who wouldn’t want to mix creativity with motivation for their writing skill practice! Drawing helps with writing, creativity and fine motor! Each Directed Drawing comes in 4 steps and there are different areas for the student to take part for each drawing- which includes sentence starters, word banks and different writing lines.
* PDF over 90 student pages – some pages are duplicate with differing writing lines. These drawings build confidence and set the stage for students to WRITE! Use them as a whole class directed drawing lesson or put them in centres for students to practise their drawing and writing! There are a total of 7 writing options for each drawing, which includes vocabulary, sentence and story writing lines. This means that you have the opportunity to differentiate instruction to meet each student’s needs.
