Fact Families Game

Description

Improve your students’ fact fluency with this exciting game. Fact Families – The Game is fun for three to six players and highlights the relationship between addition and subtraction. Each player tries to collect as many fact families as possible by asking their fellow players for specific facts. When they make a whole family, it is placed in front of the player. The winner is the player with the most fact families when all cards have been played.

Game 1 – 12 fact families within 10 – 1,3,4; 2,3,5; 1, 5, 6; 2,5,7; 3,4,7; 5,3,8; 2,6,8; 4,5,9; 2,7,9; 2,8,10; 3,7,10; 4,6,10.

Game 2 – 12 fact families within 20 – 2,9,11; 5,6,11; 4,8,12; 1,11,12; 4,9,13; 5,9,14; 3,12,15; 7,9,16; 7,10,17; 6,12,18; 5,14,19; 4,16,20.
