HSC Food Technology HACKS: Stage 6 Food Technology
Looking for ways to engage your students?
This course is an opportunity to brush up on techniques, strategies and ideas to support your students and help them perform to the best of their abilities.
We’ll share and facilitate idea generation so that you can successfully;
- Decode the syllabus
- Assist students to learn the content with the use of visual cues and acronyms
- Ensure your assessment tasks successfully address outcomes and dot points
- Assist students to make meaningful study notes
- Apply gamification to teach difficult concepts
This course will provide strategies for:
- Australian Food Industry
- Food Manufacture
- Food Product Development
- Contemporary Nutrition Issues
This course is not providing programs, worksheets or recipes, it is directed at collaboratively developing your confidence and capability to teach HSC Food Technology.

$349 + GST (Includes morning tea, lunch, tea and coffee.)
Completing HSC Food Technology Hacks will contribute 5 hours of NESA Registered PD addressing 2.1.2 and 6.2.2, from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
2.1.2 Proficient Level – Apply knowledge of the content and teaching strategies of the teaching area to develop engaging teaching activities.
6.2.2 Proficient Level – Participate in learning to update knowledge and practice, targeted to professional needs and school and/or system priorities.
