Students identify the purpose of textile items reflecting on the need for the item.
This activity provides students with the opportunity to reflect and engage with textiles items and their end uses.
Students can draw on their prior knowledge and relate it to the worksheets. This activity allows students to develop their critical thinking skills. This task has real-world implications that students can use to develop a deep understanding of the content.
‘Life Skills Textiles Whats my Purpose?’ can be shared with students digitally, easily printed or differentiated for individual students needs at the discretion of the teacher (through the pdf files provided).
