There are generally 2 various activities per week that can be used for differentiation of where you students need revision or extra practise.

2. Lesson focus: Interesting Sentences

Understand that a sentence has a subject and a verb. A subject tells you who or what the sentence is about. A verb tells you what the subject does or is.

3. Lesson focus: Sentence Fragments Adverbial Phrases

A sentence fragment is not a complete idea. Something is missing…It is a group of words that is not a complete sentence. And doesn’t make sense. Write more interesting sentences by adding adverbial phrases. Sometimes to make their writing more interesting an author will add an adverbial phrase to give the reader extra information. They describe how, when, where or why
