Description

Help your Life Skills students to explore menu planning considerations with this fantastic resource!

Students can learn about menu planning considerations such as visual appeal, cost and taste in the PowerPoint presentation. They then receive a scenario party to plan a menu for and answer questions about in the worksheet. Students are encouraged to brainstorm foods that fit the party’s theme and determine how their selections fit the menu planning considerations.

Also included in this resource is a lesson plan with teacher instructions which will aid in implementing this resource in the classroom.

Menu Planning Considerations has been designed for the Life Skills Food Service and Catering component of the NSW NESA Food Technology Years 7-10 Syllabus, however it can be used with students from a variety of stages and learning levels.
