The Life Skills Food Safety resource will teach your Life Skills students all about food safety in the school kitchen.
Students work through the Food Safety worksheet, which assists them to learn about the food danger zone and cross contamination. They then complete activities and answer a series of questions about these aspects of food safety.
Sample answers have been provided to help the teacher discuss the correct answers with their Life Skills students. A lesson plan and teacher instructions have also been included in this resource to make implementing this activity simple.
This resource has been designed to meet outcomes in the Food in Australia focus area, however it can be used for a variety of purposes across all learning levels.
