Description
A fun way to learn about the design features of textiles items with an interactive task.
Print and laminate the posters in A3 Size and display them around the room or in stations. Give students two textiles terms each and allow them to work as a class to attach the correct terms onto the textile poster. Use this activity to start a whole class discussion with students about the design features of textile items.
Alternately this resource can also be used by dividing the students into teams and assigning each team an A3 poster. The team must then work together to label their textile item poster as fast as possible. Teams can compete against each other or against a countdown clock.
This is a fun and engaging way to get your students up and involved with content that stimulates their kinaesthetic learning.
This resource and activity can be differentiated at the discretion of the teacher.
