Test your students’ memory skills and familiarise them with common fabrics through a fun card game, Fabric Flashback!
This versatile resource can be used for a variety of stages to meet outcomes that relate to fabrics within textiles technology. This is played using the same principles of traditional ‘memory’.
The cards are placed face down and students take turns to flip over 2 cards, attempting to match the fabrics. If there’s no match the student doesn’t collect the cards, they are flipped face down once again. The student with the most pairs at the end wins!
Fabric Flashback must be printed twice in order to have a full deck of cards (40 cards). Ideally there would be multiple games of Fabric Flashback playing in the classroom at once. Each Fabric Flashback card has a picture and information displayed on it that give a brief description of each fabric.
