HOW IT WORKS
Students explore a simulated ‘danger zone’ set up by the teacher to identify dangers and hazards. They record the dangers that they find on the included worksheet. Students then complete a short kitchen inspection looking for other common dangers or hazards which could be apparent. They then need to complete a reflection activity outlining ways in which the kitchen could be improved to prevent danger or harm to workers and customers. Conclude the activity with a class discussion.
