The Perfect Plating Challenge is a wonderful resource for encouraging your Food Technology students to consider the importance of aesthetics when plating a meal.

Students are prompted to create and style six different meals, being breakfast, a snack, lunch, dinner, dessert and a free choice meal. Students add a photo of their styled dishes to the worksheet and outline the important elements of each dish.

A lesson plan with teacher instructions has been included in this resource to assist teachers in easily implementing this resource into a lesson.

This is the perfect resource to encourage students to think about plating aesthetics during practicals, however, it can also be used as a homework or online learning task.
