    Description

    This is an engaging activity that uses gamification and acronyms to teach preservation processes and principles of preservation.

    To use this activity the teacher sets up the 6 preservation process posters around the room. Students are then allocated food product cards and preservation processes definition cards where they must match the food product or definition with the preservation process that it best fits with. Once students complete the game component of this activity, they then work through the worksheets provided on the preservation processes and the principles of preservation.
